If you have received a message on the screen of your printer stating that the latest firmware version is on the server, but attempting to update the firmware results in a message that the latest firmware is already installed on the printer, please disable the firmware update notification option.

In the Device settings area of your printer, go to the Firmware update area and select Update notification setting.  When you are asked if you want to receive a notification when a firmware update is available, select No.

You will be able to manually check for firmware updates on the printer.
