The Transfer Utility and CameraWindow software applications for camcorders do not have functions for saving movies or photos that have been imported into a PC on DVDs or BDs (Blu-ray Discs). Please use commercially available software to make DVDs or BDs (Blu-ray Discs).
NOTE
- You can use DVD or BD (Blu-ray Disc) writing software to record movies imported into a computer on DVDs or BDs (Blu-ray Discs). The file format must be changed when creating disks to enable movies to be played back on DVD or Blu-ray players.
- For more information on the file type of videos and photos saved from the camcorder, please refer to the camcorders instruction manual.
- It may not be possible to play back the discs you have created on some playback devices. When you use commercially available software, please see the instruction manuals to check the specifications of the playback device in use.
REFERENCE
- Images and movies remaining in the camcorder can be recorded to DVDs or BDs (Blu-ray Discs) by connecting the camcorder to a commercially available DVD/Blu-ray recorder. However, some movie file types may not be supported by recorders. For more information, please refer to the recorders instruction manual.
- For more information on recording disks using a recorder, please refer to the 'Related information' section below.
