Description
Disable [CARD PROTECT] setting on the MultiPASS F60 / F80 / MP700 / MP730.
Solution
[CARD PROTECT]
Disable the Card Protect switch on the operator panel.
- On the multifunction operator panel, press the <Copy> button.
- Press <Menu>. [SPECIAL COPY] will appear.
- Press the right search arrow ">" until [USER DATA] appears and then press <Set>.
- Press " >" until [SYSTEM SETTINGS] appears and then press <Set>.
- Press ">" until [CARD PROTECT] appears and then press <Set>.
- If [ON] appears below "Card Protect" , proceed to step 6.
- If [OFF] appears below "Card Protect" , proceed to step 8.
- Press ">" to display [OFF] and then press <Set>.
- Press <Stop> to return to standby mode.
- If Card Protect is off and the message still appears, confirm [Copy] button is illuminated. If the [Copy] button is on and the Card Protect setting is set to off, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the multifunction device, wait 5 seconds and then reconnect the cable.
