How do I stop my checks from double feeding on the CR-120/150 scanners?

Description
If double feed occurs often, adjust the Separation Roller gap according to the following procedure.
Solution
- Pull up the Adjustment Dial Cover.

Adjustment Dial - Turn the dial to the left to widen the gap, and turn it to the right to narrow the gap.
- Adjust the Adjustment Dial.
Turn the Adjustment Dial clockwise 3 clicks (to the direction in which the number decreases) to narrow the Separation Roller Gap. If checks are not fed after the above operation, turn the Adjustment Dial counterclockwise 1 click (to the direction in which the number increases) to widen the Separation Roller Gap.
- Close the Adjustment Dial Cover.

Do not use the Adjustment Dial any other time except when adjusting the Separation Roller gap. Turning the Adjustment Dial too much may damage the scanner.
