Description
How to use the slow-sync mode.
Solution
|
Slow-sync Flash Photography (With the F-1 and A-1 ONLY)
- When the slow-sync selector is OFF, the flash is synchronized with the F-1 and the A-1's X-sync speeds no matter where the shutter speed dial is set. ( When "B" is set, however, the flash is synchronized with "B")
- When the slow-sync selector is ON and the shutter speeds slower than the X-sync are set on the camera, the flash is synchronized with the shutter speed you set. (Any speed between 1/60 sec. and 8 secs can be set with the F-1 and any shutter speed between 1/30 and 30 secs. with the A-1
- When the slow-sync selector is on but a shutter speed faster than the X-sync speed is set on the camera, the flash will automatically synchronize with the X-sync speed.
