Description

Learn how to update the firmware of the PIXMA G620 from its operation panel.

Solution

Before Starting

Make sure that your printer is connected to a wireless router that has access to the Internet. You can confirm this by printing the network information.

If the printer is not connected to a wireless router, it will need to be connected before you can perform a firmware update from the operation panel.

You can use a Windows PC, a Mac, an iOS / iPadOS device, or an Android device to connect the printer to a wireless network.

You can also use the printer's operation panel to connect to a wireless router.
