The collate copy allows you to sort copies in page order. It is convenient when you make multiple copies of multiple page documents.
When Loading Documents in the ADF
Load documents face down in the ADF.
Press <Collate>. The <Collate> key lights green.
Use the numeric keys to set the copy quantity.
Press <Start>. The machine begins scanning from the last page of the document. After scanning, the scanned documents will come out in order.
When scanning multipage documents, [MEMORY FULL] and [PRESS ANY KEY] may appear in the LCD, and the document being scanned stops in the ADF. Press <Set> to make the document come out automatically. In this case, reduce the documents to be scanned. Or, change the image quality mode to [TEXT].
When Placing a Document on the Platen Glass
Place the last page of a document on the platen glass.
If a document is set from the first page, the printing will be performed in reverse order.
Press <Collate>. The <Collate> key lights green.
Use the numeric keys to set the copy quantity.
Press <Start>.
Press <Start>.
The machine begins scanning.
Place the next page of the document.
Press <Start>. Repeat step 6 and 7 to scan all documents.
Press <Set>. The machine begins printing out.
When scanning multipage documents, [MEMORY FULL] and [PRESS ANY KEY] may appear in the LCD and scanning is canceled. In this case, reduce the documents to be scanned. Or change the image quality mode to [TEXT].
