These figures reflect standard shooting conditions established by Canon. Actual totals may vary according to the subject, shooting conditions and shooting mode.
The maximum length of a single movie clip recording (at 20 images per second) is approximately: 4 seconds (640 x 480 pixels), 10 seconds (320 x 240 pixels), or 30 seconds (160 x 120 pixels).
Large ("L"), Medium ("M"), and Small ("S") indicate the recording resolution.
Super Fine, Fine, and Normal indicate the compression setting. (Super Fine compression is less "lossy", but results in a larger file.)
