Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
- Make sure ends to the STV-250N Stereo/Video cable are connected securely to the camcorder and television.
- Ensure nothing is connected to the headphone jack on the camcorder or the headphone jack on the television.
- Ensure the television volume is not muted.
- Try increasing the volume on the television.
- Check the camcorder's playback menu to ensure [AV/PHONES] is set to [AV].
- Try connecting the camcorder to another A/V port on the television and remember to change your television to the proper A/V source.
- Connect the camcorder to a different television.
- Replace the AV cable.
If you completed all the troubleshooting steps and the issue is not resolved, the camcorder may need servicing.
