If you prefer to save your scans in a cloud-based application, you can do so right from your MAXIFY or PIXMA printer panel.
These instructions are for the following printers:
MAXIFY

MB5020, MB5120, MB5320, MB5420
PIXMA

MG5500 Series, MG5620, MG5700 Series

MG6420, MG6620, MG6800 Series
-
MG7120, MG7520, MG7720
Scan to a compatible cloud service
After entering the Cloud area menu on the printer, follow these steps:

Select a compatible cloud service (OneDrive®, Google Drive™, etc.) on your printer screen.

Log in to your cloud service account (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.).

Depending on which cloud service account you want to scan to, you may be asked to use a mobile device to scan a QR code or go to a website to sign in.

Select Scan.

Select folders or create new folders where you want to save your scans.

Select your appropriate scan settings, then tap or press Start.

The scan is complete. Select Go to app top to scan again or Go to app list to return to the apps list.

To log out of the cloud service you signed in to, select Manage from the main menu (shown in step 1) > Log out of all apps > Yes.
