Securely Install the Print Head
When Error 5100 is displayed on the printer LCD, the print head may not be installed properly.
Resolve the error following the procedures below.
- Turn off the printer.
- Open the cover by sliding the cover open switch to the right.
- Lock down the print head completely by pressing the tab on the print head lock lever

- Confirm that the print head is installed properly.

The print head lock lever is not locked completely.

The print head lock lever is locked.
- Close the cover and turn on the printer.
