From the Start menu, select Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools, then double-click Services.
- Windows 8.1 / Windows 8:
Select the Settings charm > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools, then double-click Services.

There may be interference with other drivers. Delete unnecessary drivers.

Your application may not comply with TWAIN. Use another application to scan.
