How to Toggle the Option to Automatically Print Received Faxes - MX432 / MX439

Solution

The printer can be set to either store received faxes in memory or automatically print them when they are received.  To toggle this option:
  1. Press the Setup  button.

  2. Fax settings will appear.  Press OK.

  3. Press the right arrow button until Auto print settings appears.  Press OK.

  4. Received documents will appear.  Press OK.

  5. By default, Print will be selected.  This means that the printer will print incoming faxes automatically (unless the ink is running low or if there is no paper).  Press the right arrow to select Do not print.  Press OK on the option that you want.
The machine can store up to max. 50 pages* (max. 20 documents) of faxes in the machine's memory.

* When using ITU-T No.1 chart (Standard mode)

If the machine's memory becomes full, the machine cannot receive any more faxes. Print the received faxes stored in the machine's memory or save them on the USB flash drive, delete them from the machine's memory, and have the sender resend the faxes.
