Solution
Cannot connect to the target access point
Confirm the following:
- The network name / SSID of the target access point and the printer are identical.
- 'Infrastructure' is selected as the network type.
- If a network key is set to the access point, set the printer to match it.
- If MAC address filtering is set to the access point, register the MAC address of the printer or disable MAC address filtering.
- The wireless channel to be used may be limited depending on wireless network devices installed in the computer. Refer to the manual provided with your computer or your wireless network device.
- Make sure that the channel set to the access point is valid to communicate with the computer, confirmed above. If not, change the channel set to the access point.
- When connecting to an AirPort Base Station, use alphanumeric characters for the name of the network (SSID).
Make sure that there is no barrier or obstacle between the access point and the printer.
