If your printer suddenly stops working on your network, try the following steps to restore network connectivity.
Note
- If there has been a change on your network (new wireless router, a change in your network name or password), these steps may not apply if you have not already reconfigured your printer's network settings.
- Turn off your printer and unplug its power cord.
- Unplug the power cord(s) for your wireless router and modem. Leave the power cord(s) unplugged for 30 seconds.
- Plug the wireless router and modem back in.
- Plug the printer's power cord in and turn on the printer.
This may re-establish the printer's network connection and allow you to use the printer without reconfiguring the printer or reinstalling any drivers / software.
