Night Scene Mode
This mode is for taking pictures of people at twilight or at night.
The flash illuminates the subject while a slow sync speed obtains a natural-looking exposure of the background

Turn the Command Dial to < >
- The picture-taking procedure is the same as with the FULL AUTO mode
- This automatically set the AF mode to <ONE SHOT> and the film advance to <SINGLE FRAME> and the metering mode to <EVALUATIVE>

- To prevent camera shake, using a tripod is recommended
- If you want to photograph only a night scene (without people), use the landscape mode instead
- Tell the subject to keep still even after the flash fires
- If you use the self-timer in this mode, the red-eye reduction lamp will flash when the exposure is completed
- The Night Scene mode can be used even while an EOS-dedicated Speedlite is attached to the camera
- If the Night Scene mode is set in daylight, it will function in the same way as the FULL AUTO mode
- Using ISO 400 or faster film is recommended
