These uses are covered only by such specific warranty as Canon may issue with such sales.

The DVD video format is designed for direct playback rather than uploading to a computer for editing. Various third party software applications are available to assist in uploading your videos to your computer's hard drive for playback, but most video editing software packages do not currently have the ability to edit these files.

Deleted scenes or images may be recoverable using commercially available data recovery software. If the application is unable to recover scenes or images, the camcorder or memory card may need to be sent to a professional data recovery service company .
