DVD's created with your VIXIA series AVCHD camcorder and the DW-100 DVD burner are recorded using the AVCHD standard for high definition video. These discs are not compatible with standard DVD players. These discs may be played back by connecting the DW-100 to your VIXIA series camcorder and then connecting the camcorder to the television or they may be played in most Blu-Ray disc players.

Before using an SDXC memory card, please read through the following information. Using the optional DW-100 DVD Burner , discs cannot be created from recordings on an SDXC memory card. To create discs using the DW-100, make sure in advance that your recordings are in the built-in memory or on an SD or SDHC memory card. If you connect the optional DVD Burner while the index screen is showing the recordings on the SDXC memory card, the DVD Burner may not operate correctly.

Preparations on the camcorder to save in standard-definition - Discs with recordings in FXP/XP+/SP/LP mode created using the optional DW-100 DVD Burner can be played back only with AVCHD-compatible DVD players . Do not insert a high-definition disc into a DVD player that is not compatible with AVCHD specifications as you may not be able to eject the disc.
