The DVD video format is designed for direct playback rather than uploading to a computer for editing. Various third party software applications are available to assist in uploading your videos to your computer's hard drive for playback, but most video editing software packages do not currently have the ability to edit these files.
1. Click the icon of the hard disk to which the image folder was installed, and then select [Applications] > [Canon Utilities] > [ImageBrowser EX]. 2 . Move the [ImageBrowser EX] folder to [Trash]. 3. From the [Finder] menu, select [Empty Trash].
Loading a Disc DVD discs come in various types and in two sizes- the more common 12cm (5in.) and 8cm (3in.) MiniDVD's. This camcorder uses 8cm (3in.) DVD-R discs like the one supplied in the box or DVD-RW discs (not included).
Recording Still Images We recommend using a miniSD card with a transfer rate of more than 2 MB/sec. formatted with this camcorder. When using memory cards not formatted on this camcorder or after repeatedly recording and erasing, the writing speed may fall and recording may stop.
