Disconnect the FS series camcorder from the computer
|
To ensure reliable operation and data integrity the FS series camcorders cannot be powered off while they are actively connected to a computer. To turn the camcorder off please use the proper safe device removal procedures for your computers operating system and then disconnect the USB cable. Once the cable has been removed the camera will then be able to be powered off.

However, you need a plug adapter to use the camcorder in a country where the power plug shape is different from that of your own country. (Please note that depending on the region, the plug shape may be different even in the same country.)

Press the battery pack softly into the battery attachment unit and slide it up until it clicks in place. Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.

Be sure to copy any important recordings onto a computer or video recorder before deleting them or initializing the memory. While initializing, do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder.
