In Windows 8, there are two easy ways to transfer your images from the computer to a memeory card or USB flash drive: Copy and Paste Plug the your USB flash drive into an available USB port or insert your memory card into an available slot or memory card reader.
You can record more stable images if you use a tripod. Camcorder tripods with level gauges can accurately adjust horizontal level. If you will only be using it to stabilize the camcorder, even the mini tripods used for digital cameras will do.

If you record a moving subject while running after it, or record a subject while in an unstable position, your recorded images might be out of focus or blurred due to excessive movement. If images or videos have been mistakenly deleted from the computer and/or the camcorders hard drive or memory card, third party data recovery software or data recovery companies may be able to retrieve the videos and/or images . Canon does not bundle any type of data recovery software with our products. We would suggest contacting your computer or memory card manufacturers for possible suggestions and/or perform a web search for data/image recovery.
