Tracking a Specific Subject (non face) XF705

The camcorder may start tracking the incorrect subject if there is another subject in the picture with similar color /pattern characteristics. In that case, press SET to return to the selection screen and select the desired subject again.

Applying a LUT to Screens/Video Outputs XF705
|
While recording using special gamma curves, you can apply a LUT to the image displayed on the LCD screen, viewfinder and external monitors (SDI terminal or HDMI OUT terminal). When a LUT is applied, the displayed image will look as if a standard gamma curve were used, making it easier to check the image on the display device used. To check the image on an external monitor, you will need a monitor that is compatible with the video’s color space.

The camcorder offers the following preset color settings (combinations of gamma curve, color space and color matrix). Alternatively, you can turn the presets off and set each of the main settings individually. You can even adjust the detailed custom picture settings as necessary

Colors Bars/Audio Reference Signal XF705

2 Select the desired level and then press SET. • You can select one of three audio levels (– 12 dB, –18 dB, –20 dB) or [Off] to turn off the signal. • The reference signal will be output at the selected level when you display the color bars, and will be recorded when you press the REC button.
