What assistant functions are available for 3D recording? (XF300/XF305)

Although the focal length guide is an aid for 3D recording, make sure to check the picture angle visually while recording. You can obtain more accurate results when you perform this procedure at full telephoto. The same picture angle for camcorders cannot be guaranteed.

How do I fit the camcorder to a tripod?

You can record more stable images if you use a tripod. Camcorder tripods with level gauges can accurately adjust horizontal level. If you will only be using it to stabilize the camcorder, even the mini tripods used for digital cameras will do.

Attempt to use data recovery software or contact a data recovery company.

If images or videos have been mistakenly deleted from the computer and/or the camcorders hard drive or memory card, third party data recovery software or data recovery companies may be able to retrieve the videos and/or images . Canon does not bundle any type of data recovery software with our products. We would suggest contacting your computer or memory card manufacturers for possible suggestions and/or perform a web search for data/image recovery.

Explanation of the files which can be saved on the SD card with the XF300 and XF305
|
Photo data as well as settings data, such as custom pictures and setting items in the menu, are saved on the SD/SDHC memory card (hereinafter called SD card). In addition, it is possible to save user memo files created with the supplied software (Canon XF Utility ) on the SD card so that you can transfer the file to the camcorder to use the data.
