PowerShot Cameras On older PowerShot cameras, the serial number of the camera is located on the bottom of the camera printed on the sticker near the tripod. This should not be confused with the model number showing above the printed serial number. The serial number will typically appear as black text within a silver box.
The image sensor aspect ration for this camera is 4:3. Most print sizes differ from this aspect ration (a 4x6" print is a 2:3 aspect ration) so in some cases clipping or cropping must be done to print images from the digital camera. If holding the camera horizontally, it is best to leave some space at the top and bottom of the image to ensure this cropping will not affect the images.

Press display (DISP.) button to turn the display on. This button is located on the rear of the camera and toggles the camera's LCD display. The button is usually printed with <DISP.
