Virtually all Canon cameras are fitted with an industry standard 1/4-20 tripod socket to facilitate easy mounting to standard tripods from various manufacturers. A tripod is an excellent way to support the camera with minimal vibration. This helps to ensure the sharpest possible images at shutter speeds far below what can normally be handheld.

How do you connect the camera to the computer via Macintosh Serial Interface? Open the DIGITAL terminal cover by slipping a fingernail under the top edge and pulling down. Insert the connector so that the arrow marks on the connector and camera align. Turn on the computer.
