If your e-mail software does not start in step 7, select the [Save to Folder] option in the [After Finishing the Task] part of step 6 to save them, and then attach the images to your message using your e-mail software. Provide basic low light shooting information.
You image can become blurred if the shutter speed is to slow. For example, if your camera says that the proper exposure would be f /5.6 @ 1/30 of a second, then you would be able to increase your shutter speed to 1/125 of a second @ f / 2.8 . The rule of thumb to follow is: take the reciprocal of the focal length being used.

Use a tripod or other stable support
Virtually all Canon cameras are fitted with an industry standard 1/4-20 tripod socket to facilitate easy mounting to standard tripods from various manufacturers. A tripod is an excellent way to support the camera with minimal vibration. This helps to ensure the sharpest possible images at shutter speeds far below what can normally be handheld.
