For the purpose of helping to sanitize your Canon imageCLASS product, it is recommended that you clean parts touched with the hands such as control panels, covers and jam locations with isopropyl alcohol using the following precautions:
Loading Paper in Multi-purpose tray Remove the multi-purpose tray cover from the machine. Prepare a stack of paper by tapping it on a flat surface to even its edges.
Make sure the machine is plugged in. Lift the latch and open the front cover . Do not try to open the front cover without lifting the latch since this may damage your machine.
