Setting the Focus Mode The lens' focusing ring is electronic. When AF operation is set to [ ONE SHOT], manual focus is possible after autofocusing has been completed by continuing to press the shutter button halfway (Full-time manual focus). There are times when camera setting changes are required.
The AF speed (10 steps) and AF response (7 steps) can be changed. Also, AF speed can be selected to be applied constantly or only when recording. The lenses below will allow the AF speed to be altered from within the camera's menu.
Extenders Attach the extender to the lens, and then attach the camera. To detach it, reverse the order. Errors may occur if you attach the extender to the camera first.
MODE 3 Shooting irregularly moving subjects Setting the STABILIZER switch to OFF is recommended when you are taking pictures using the Bulb setting (long exposures). If the STABILIZER switch is set to ON, the Image Stabilizer may introduce errors .
