Wireless printing requires a working network with wireless 802.11 b /g/n capability. You will need a Wi-Fi enabled device (computer, tablet, phone, etc. ), a wireless router and a wireless printer.

Cleaning the encoder (timing) strip - MG5700 Series / MG6800 Series / MG7720

The timing strip is a clear, plastic strip approximately 1/4 inch in height positioned horizontally across the center of the unit, just in front of the carriage drive belt. The timing strip contains many thin black vertical lines that help determine the carriage position during operation.

Unplug the printer's power cord. If your printer supports faxing and you disconnect the power plug, all the faxes stored in the machine's memory will be erased. Unfortunately, service is required.
