Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern F30 / F50
|
Printing a nozzle test will help determine if the ink tanks are not seated properly. Follow this procedure to print the nozzle check pattern from the machine:

Locate the serial number MP700 / MP730
|
The serial number of the MultiPASS MP700 / MP730 is located at the back of the printer approximately at the center of the cover , as shown below.

Change the cartridge
|
Make sure the machine is plugged in. Lift the latch and open the front cover . Do not try to open the front cover without lifting the latch since this may damage your machine.

Clean document guide sheet
|
The document guide sheet feeds documents from the document feeder out through the top of the document cover . Clean the document guide sheet if sent faxes, copies or scans have black or white veritical lines.

Computer will not boot with device connected via USB

Change the Print Quality Settings (Windows)

The Quality setting controls how finely ink droplets are placed on the printed page. Depending on the type of paper being used a higher Print Quality setting does not always insure a better print. Print speed will decrease as the Print Quality setting is increased. Follow the instructions below to change the print quality settings in the Canon printer driver for the Windows operating system through a printing application.
