How to handle the Address Book error message "Specified file does not exist." - Windows Vista

ERROR: 0x80070725 - Incompatible version of the RPC stub - Setup will now terminate
|
The error 'Incompatible version of the RPC stub' is caused by an incompatible version of a DLL that was installed on the system, such as Oleaut32.dll, Olepro32.dll, Asycfilt.dll, Stdole2.tlb. For example, version 3.50 of Oleaut32.dll is installed and used only by Windows XP and so causes this error if it is installed on a machine running any other operating system. Ignore the error message : "A required .DLL file, C:\windows\system\oleaut32.dll, was not found." This error message appears because the file was renamed in step 4.

Uninstall / reinstall the MP drivers for Windows 7 (MP360 / MP370 / MP390 / MP700 / MP730)

If, after upgrading your computer's operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and you receive an error message while printing or PC Faxing is not available (MP390 and MP 730 only), uninstall and reinstall the Canon MP drivers.

Is Easy-WebPrint compatible with my version of Internet Explorer?
|
Easy-WebPrint is unavailable with Internet Explorer 7.0. Internet Explorer 7.0 includes many of the same printer functions as Easy-WebPrint. Therefore, Easy-WebPrint cannot be installed on a computer with Internet Explorer 7.0 installed. Also, after upgrading IE6.0 to IE7.0 on a PC with the latest Easy-WebPrint installed, Easy-WebPrint will not be available and an error message dialog will be displayed upon starting IE7.0 .

Using the BJ Status Monitor MP700 / MP730
|
Checking the status of the machine with the BJ Status Monitor If you display the BJ Status Monitor, you can check the status of the machine and the progress of a printing job. The status of the machine is displayed in real time and you can track the progress of individual print jobs. The Status Monitor will also tell you if an error has occurred, if ink is running low, and how you should fix problems.
