If MP Navigator EX or other scanning application does not start or quits unexpectedly (Mac)

If TWAIN scan applications quit unexpectedly when launching or display an error message then quit, move third party data source files from the TWAIN Data Source folder*. *If there is only the Canon Data Source (in the case of network-capable models, there will be 2 sources), then delete the file( s ) following the steps below, then download and install the latest scanner driver from the Download Library at the Canon USA . Enter the model name of your product in the search box and wait until its name appears under the box. Click the name of the product and then click Get Drivers & Downloads

Replace ink cartridge(s) MX300
|
Use the following procedure to replace empty ink cartridges or when an ink cartridge error appears. <1> The ink cartridge is not installed properly. < 2 > The ink cartridge is installed properly. Fold the scanning unit support and close the scanning unit (printer cover).

Install recommended ink cartridge(s) in correct order (MX300 / MX310)
|
When replacing ink cartridges (when ink cartridges are not recognized, ink runs out, etc.), use the following ink cartridges. Supported ink cartridges: Black: Insert it into the left side ( B ) of the ink cartridge holder. Color: Insert it into the right side (C) of the ink cartridge holder.
