Take out a new cartridge from its casing and gently remove the orange protective tape in the direction of the arrow.

Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern Make sure that the machine is turned on , then load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Rear Tray. Open the Paper Output Tray, then set the Paper Thickness Lever. (1)

The edges of an image extend off the paper slightly in borderless copy. Adjust the amount to be cut off according to the image size. Turn on the machine. Press the <COPY> button.
