Wireless Direct mode Devices connected to the printer via Wireless Direct can't communicate with each other. Firmware updates for the printer aren't available when you use Wireless Direct. If you connect a device to the printer without using a router, then disconnect the device, you will need to go to the Wi-Fi setting screen to disable the connection before you can reconnect the device.
