The liquid inside the bag is the ink solvent, slightly tinted with cyan. It is in the bag to keep the print head nozzles from drying out. Occasionly, because of shipping conditions, this solvent may disperse inside of the print head package. This will not damage the print head or adversely affect print quality. Since the print head nozzles and filters are so small, do not wipe the solvent from the nozzles or ink tank inlets; it will be removed during the initial purge. If there is any liquid on the circuit board on the back of the print head, that may be wiped off using a lint free cloth.
