Installing the IS Scanner cartridge

Installing the IS Scanner Cartridge To avoid damaging the scanning head of the scanner cartridge, do not store the scanner cartridge in an SB-21 Ink Cartridge Storage Box. The pad for the BJ cartridge print head inside the container is covered with ink that could damage the scanning head of the scanner cartridge. Always store the scanner cartridge in its plastic container.

Reseat or replace the ink cartridge Turn the printer off and disconnect the parallel cable from the printer. Turn the printer on and open the front cover of the printer. Release the locking lever that holds the cartridge in place.
