Set [Page Size] to a larger paper size (A4, for example) on the scanner driver settings screen, and then scan again. Set [Dots per inch] to 300 dpi or less on the scanner driver settings screen. If you scanned the passport with the side with fewer pages fed first , place the passport so that the side with the more pages is fed into the scanner first , and make sure that side is near the very end of the carriar sheet.

Documents frequently jam while scanning - DR-C230/C240

If the feed and retard rollers are worn, or excessively dirty, documents may not feed correctly and paper jams and double feeds may occur. When more than 200,000 pages have been fed (total number of pagers fed by the scanner), a message prompting you to replace the rollers is displayed when the computer is started . An exchange roller kit can be purchased from your local dealer.
