CMS-XML During scanning, an unknown error occurs.
If you receive an unknown error while scanning, it may be that the scanner is having trouble communicating with the computer. Check to make sure that you are using the USB cable provided with the scanner. The following is a list of things that should be avoided:
CMS-XML ERROR: Device cannot be Locked.
Turn off the scanner and shut down the computer. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable from the scanner and computer. Turn the computer back on.
