6. Select one of the color conversion methods from [Rendering intents], which is indicated on the right-hand side of the [Printing profile]. Here, to recreate image colors faithfully, select [Relative Colorimetric]. NOTE
Setting color space for each image You can also set a different color space from the default setting for each RAW image. If you set an image with a color space different to the default setting and then subsequently change the default color space setting, this default setting will not be applied and the individually set color space will remain.
Transferred images are automatically converted to TIFF images (16bit) to which an ICC profile is added. The ICC profile contains information about [Preferences] or work color space set for each image as described below and the appropriate color information is relayed to Photoshop.
Set color in Digital Photo Professional can select the color space to be applied as a default setting of RAW images from five types. The color space set will be applied as the color space when a RAW image is converted and saved or printed. See the instructions for your camera to learn how to set it on the camera.
You can correct images with Digital Photo Professional. This section describes how to correct images using the repair function so that the unwanted spots (spots you want to delete) on the image blend in with the surrounding color . Window 7 is used in this description, but the procedure is mostly the same if you use Windows Vista, Windows XP or Mac OS X.
You can select either sRGB or Adobe RGB. Since the camera’s LCD monitor is not compatible with Adobe RGB, the image will not look very different when either color space is set.
Resolution The setting range is 1 to 60,000 dpi. Embeds of ICC profiles Color space information that is set in an image is attached to an ICC profile. Size changing The larger of the two values set in [Width] and [Height] is applied to the longer edge of an image and change its size.
