When attempting to open Digital Photo Professional 4.X, [This program requires a display capable of 1024 x 720 resolution or more (Screen area).] is displayed and the program will not run.
Digital Photo Professional cannot be run when the resolution of your monitor is set lower than 1024×720, or when color setting are lower than High Color (16bit). In these cases, the below error message will be displayed.

Possible issues and resolutions If you have multiple memory cards, initialize another memory card and take some test shots. If images can be played back normally, the card that shows the error message may be malfunctioning. Try reformatting the faulty memory card to solve the issue.
