Error "Scanner not found" when using CaptureOnTouch
Restore the registry Double click on "RepairReg.exe", which is stored in " C :\Program Files (x86)\Canon Electronics\CaptureOnTouch\Tools". "Restoration Tool for Scanner Registry" launches. Click the [START] button.

DR Scanner driver not found / TWAIN Error
The first thing that needs to be done is the temp folder needs to be cleared (if possible). Navigate to this location: C :\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Temp and delete what you can from this folder.

ERROR: Device cannot be Locked.
Unzip the downloaded file. Open Windows Explorer and browse to your " C :" drive. Double-click on the "DR Scanner" folder.

Error: Scan Mode is not Selected (CaptureOnTouch)
The error "Scan mode is not selected" while using CaptureOnTouch indicates that when you attempted to scan, the Document Type was not selected first (Step 1).

Windows 11 scanner USB connection issue
It has been reported that a communication error occurs when the scanner is connected via USB in the Windows 11 environment. This issue is considered to be derived from the operating specifications of the OS.
