It may be necessary to move a competitor's data source files from C:\Windows\TWAIN_32\ so that the Canon scanner driver will function properly. From the TWAIN_32\ folder, move the entire sub-folder to another drive or directory. If prompted to provide administrator permission to move the folder, click 'Continue'. If prompted to provide permission again, click 'Continue'. Reboot the computer , open the application you were trying to scan from and try again.
Enabling large image scans will allow you to scan images up to 50000 x 50000 pixels and 4.0 GB. Please note that doing this will require a significant amount of your computer's resources. Scans wlil take several minutes to complete.
