Try cycling the power on the printer and Router / Access Point to restore communication

Solution

Cycle the power

If your printer was previously printing via wireless communication but can no longer do so, it may be necessary to cycle the power on the printer and Router / Access Point to restore communication. Before doing this, verify that the computer can communicate with the Router / Access Point.

  1. On the printer, press the On button to power off the printer.
  2. Wait about 10 seconds, then press the On button to power the printer back on.
  3. On the Router / Access Point, if there is a power button, press it to turn off the device, then press it again to re-power after waiting for about 10 seconds.

If there is no power button, you may have to disconnect the power cord / AC adapter. Check with the device's user manual.

    Note:
Wireless communication of all devices on the wireless network will be lost while you do this.
