Description

33600 bps is the maximum send (transmit) speed. When the telephone line condition or connection is poor, selecting a lower reception speed may solve transmit problems.

Solution

TX Start Speed

33600 bps is the maximum send (transmit) speed. When the telephone line condition or connection is poor, selecting a lower reception speed may solve transmit problems.

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.

  2. Press the FAX button.
    The Fax standby screen will appear.

  3. Press the Menu button.



  4. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Advanced FAX settings, then press the OK button.

  5. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select Adv. communication, then press the OK button.

  6. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select TX start speed, then press the OK button.

  7. Use the LEFTRIGHT button to select from the following speeds, then press the OK button.
    • 33600 bps
    • 14400 bps
    • 9600 bps
    • 4800 bps

  8. Press the FAX button to return to standby mode.
