'Can't write output file' may appear when saving a file to a memory card. (F20)
Attempting to save a file from the MultiPASS Viewer to a memory card inserted in the MultiPASS F20's card slot, may display the following message:
"Save failed
Can't write output file."
Cause:
- The MultiPASS Card Protect switch is 'On'.
- Photo Print mode is active. (If a memory card is inserted in the slot, [INDEX] will appear on the display.)
Solution:
Disable the Card Protect switch on the MultiPASS operator panel.
- On the MultiPASS operator panel, press the <Menu> button repeatedly until [User Data] appears on the top row of the display.
- Press '>' the right or '<' left arrow buttons until [Card Protect] appears on the bottom row of the display and then press <Set>.
- Press '>' the right search arrow to display [Off] and then press <Set>.
- Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode.
- If Card Protect is off and the message still appears, press the <Copy> button to switch out of Photo Print mode.
- If the Copy button is on and the Card Protect switch is off, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the MultiPASS, wait 5 seconds and reconnect the cable.
