Supported ink cartridges / Ink Yield

When replacing ink cartridges (when ink cartridges are not recognized, ink runs out, etc.), use the following ink cartridges.

Supported ink cartridges: *

Black: Insert it into the left side of the ink cartridge holder.

Color: Insert it into the right side of the ink cartridge holder.

*Note: One black cartridge and one color cartridge must be installed in the machine in order for the printer to operate. It does not matter if the capacities (Standard or High) do not match.

Note: The figure below is an average value, measured when printing continuously using the ink immediately after it is unsealed, until the ink is out. Ink yield may vary depending on texts/photos printed, applications software used, print mode and type of paper used.

*3 When printing Canon standard patterns on 4" x 6" Photo Paper Plus Glossy with the default settings in Windows XP driver, in borderless printing mode, using Windows XP's Photo Printing Wizard.
