MAXIFY Remote UI - Printer Status and Utilities

The MAXIFY printer has an HTML interface known as the Remote UI.  This interface can be accessed from any device that is connected to the same network as the printer.  To access this interface:
  1. From the home window, select Setup -> Device settings -> LAN settings -> Confirm LAN settings -> WLAN setting list or LAN setting list. Then from the displayed window, check the IP address.

  2. From your computer, smartphone, or tablet device, open the Web browser, and enter the following URL:

http:// <Printer IP address>

For <Printer IP address>, enter the IP address that you checked in step 1.

When you enter the IP address, you will be prompted to enter a Username and Password.

Username: ADMIN

Password: See "About the Administrator Password."

Note

  • The Username display may differ depending on your browser.
After entering in the Username and Password, the Printer Status screen will appear.  This will show you the ink levels in the printer.



Clicking on Ink number will take you here.  On this page, click on your model.  You will then see the numbers for the ink tanks that your printer uses.

Clicking Order my ink now will take you here.  On this page, scroll down and click on your model.  You will see the available inks for your printer and you can order them.

Utilities

The Utilities area allows you to perform maintenance functions on the printer.



Click on the function on the right that you want to execute.  For Print nozzle check patternCleaningDeep cleaningAuto head alignment, and Print the head alignment value,you will be asked if you want to execute them.  Click Yes to execute that function.

For Quiet setting:
 
You will have the option to not use quiet mode, use quiet mode, or use it during specified hours.



If you want to use the quiet mode during specified hours, you will need to specify the time that the quiet mode is enabled.  The time is entered as a 24 hour format.  For example, if you want to use the quiet mode from 1 PM until 3 PM, you would enter 13:00 to 15:00.:



Click OK after entering in the specified time to use quiet mode.  Then, click OK on the Quiet setting menu.

For Custom settings:

In this area, you can enable / disable Prevent paper abrasion and Detect paper setting mismatch.  You can also change the Ink drying wait time and you can also change the URL for [Order my ink now].



For the Ink drying wait time, this value can be changed from 1 to 5.



For the URL for [Order my ink now], you can specify a URL that will open when you click on the Order my ink now button on the Printer status page.



If you do not specify a URL, the default link will be used.  It will take you here.

For Language selection:

In this area, you can specify the language used for the Remote UI.  Select the language desired and then click OK.  Note that if you change the language, the Remote UI will reload with the language you selected.
