If a paper jam occurs during automatic duplex printing (printing on both sides of the paper), follow the steps below to remove the jammed paper.

***Good to know: You can also get this error code if you remove the document before both sides of the last page of the document have ejected completely. In such cases, paper is not jammed in the machine. Power the machine off, then on again to clear

Remove the jammed paper depending on where it is located.

If the paper is jammed at the paper output slot:

If the paper is jammed inside the printer:

If the paper is jammed at the feeder of the cassette:
Pull out the cassette, and then remove the paper slowly with both hands.
- If none of the above is applied, see Removing Jammed Paper from Rear Side to open the rear cover and to remove the paper.

Load paper in cassette properly.
When you load A4 or Letter-sized paper in the cassette, make sure you have extended it.

Perform printing or copying again.
