Setup the Wireless Connection Using WPS

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a method that allows you to easily connect network devices to a secure wireless network. You do not need to know your SSID or password (network key) when using this method. If you have a Wireless access point or router that supports WPS, you can easily connect your Canon wireless printer to your home network.

 
  1. Press the Setup button (A).

  2. Use the Left or Right button (B) to select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

  3. Select WPS (Push button) and press the OK button.

  4. Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router.

  5. Press the OK button on the printer within 2 minutes.

    If a different screen appears, see "Troubleshooting."

  6. When the screen on the below appears, press the OK button.

  7. Press the COPY button (A).

The network connection setup is now complete.

Return to the application screen and proceed with the setup.

Click Setup icon in the Dock, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.
