Calibrating the Scanner (9000F)

When using the machine for the first time, scanner calibration starts automatically. Wait a while until the preview image appears.

Since the unit will automatically calibrate as needed, there is no option to perform a one-time calibration. However, you can set the driver so that the scanner will calibrate on every scan.

To set the scanner to calibrate on every scan:

1. Open ScanGear from the desired application (ex.- MP Navigator EX, PhotoStudio, etc.).
   
2. If not already in Advanced Mode, click on the 'Advanced Mode' tab.
   
3. Click the Preferences... button at the bottom next to the Close button.
   
   
4. On the Scanner tab, next to "Execute at Every Scan", click the drop-down menu and change the option to ON.
